Eli Scimitar Sword

what a uneakn looking blade at a very good price next on my list....

I was going to buy this about a year ago until I visited the store and saw the size of it. I was disappointed as I was very excited to own it. I am so glad to hear about the updated version. Easily the most accurate replica I've seen. I will no doubt be
buying this soon.

Recieved blade is not an accurate representation of that seen in the movie (i just recieved mine today, 15/9/11, after the customs debacle that delayed them). The holes, like the previous design they had, are not in a curved line near the edge of the blade,
and are in fact almost in the middle, unlike the sword in the movie, and unlike the advertising photo above, which also has more and thicker wrapping on the handle than what I recieved, and probably doesn't have a warped blade either. I understand that Globalgear
argue that hand-made swords aren't meant to be perfect and are meant to have imperfections. I agree. However the advertising does not reflect the actual product, and the product itself is nowhere near and accurate representation of the Book of Eli sword in
the movie.

Was really looking forward to receiving the product, but was unfortunately met with disappointment Sword was covered in scratches and have several nicks or dints in it. The grip is very unlike what is pictured, rather thin. Sword was as blunt as a butterknife
on arrival. Blade does not have a unique sound when swung. However is a very good size.

Got mine today! WOW! It's a great product and I recommend to everyone. Thanks sooo much Global Gear.

finally got this sword and the blade is sharp and length is actual size, it looks slightly different to picture and feels a bit cheap, how ever i managed to alter handle, adding weight and re wrapping it and now it feels great and looks much better. still
going to buy more movie replicas. :)

not too impressed, expected much better quality as i am big fan of the movie. i will have to do work to this knife also eg sharpen, fix handle. We have give 60% off this item as we were not happy with them either, please contact us for a partial refund

I loved the Movie, but I love my scimitar more! I believe I am lucky emough to possess a faithful replica, and I can't find any difference between this one and the one in the film. It's honestly a beautiful and awesome duplicate. For the price too, it's
very worthwhile. I even managed to get it to sing once, when I withdrew it from its sheath! Simply awesome!
